CYN is an eclectic interior designer with projects located across the United States. Through CYN’s concept driven design process, sophisticated eye for detail and understanding of client needs, she strives to not only create unique, timeless and inspiring interiors but also provide an exceptional customer experience. Some featured projects include Che Fico Restaurant in San Francisco, The Harrison’s Grand Salon in San Francisco and Faith & Flower Restaurant in Los Angeles.
CYN’s signature style consists of a mix of natural elements, materials, textures, vintage finds and neutral palettes. She enjoys infusing traditional elements with modern styles and doesn’t shy away from the unconventional. Her vision includes an eclectic combination of fabrics, objects and materials found throughout the world. She is able to masterfully weave together a wide range of styles in choreographed design. Her goal is always to find that perfect balance between a client’s life and chosen space.
CYN is influenced by a wide array of interests including travel, architecture, art, fashion, music, nature and the ever-changing world. She fuses these elements in both formal and informal ways and she has an eye for architectural finishes that contrast vintage found elements with modern fixtures.
CYN’s experience strikes a perfect balance between hospitality, residential and architectural influences. She built her hospitality career at award-winning international hospitality design firm AvroKO, where she designed restaurants and hotels around the world. She later sharpened her skills and creativity at the highly acclaimed interior design firm Ken Fulk Inc, where she added residential projects to her accomplishments. And as senior designer at Jon de la Cruz Interior Design, she led a cadre of designers on both hospitality and residential projects.
Before landing in hospitality design, CYN worked in architecture where she learned about building and detailing. This allows her to seamlessly work side-by-side with contractors and subcontractors, speaking their language and understanding their concerns. In addition, she is fluent in Spanish, which helps break down language barriers in the field, create trust and move projects along efficiently.
CYN’s work has always been client-focused and her services are tailored to each client. She brings to each relationship creative direction, attentive interior design and a keen sense of styling. Common to all projects is her commitment to building thoughtful client relationships and timeless interiors.
